With the options open for such diverse street cars (with an MOT certificate), the Hot Rod Challengers can run open headers, slicks, nitrous injection, in fact most things that let you go faster quicker!

This is a 'heads up' racing series, against the clock, the quickest car wins. But it can be left wide open, as quicker cars can be less reliable, so consistency and reliability play their part.

And the series shows the diversity of what a hot rod can be; from a traditional 1934 Ford hot rod with 7-litres, to a kit car with a nitrous injected small block Chevy or a right-on-the-edge 4-litre 'heavily accessorized' V6 in a 4x4 Cortina.
